This movie tells about the life story of Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines. From his childhood up to his execution. But before it comes to his execution this film also shows the life of his work, family and Filipinos who believes and love him especially about the very controversy rebellion called Katipunan but we prefer it as KKK, founded by Andres Bonifacio one of our great heroes.
The true point of view of this amazing movie is that all of he said about Filipino is right, that the Philippines is an oppressed country, with oppressed people who have oppressed rights. He lived seeing his fatherland that way. He saw the suffering of his fellow people, the injustice of the Spanish cowards over the Filipino people, the death of the GOMBURZA fathers, and the unjust arrest of his dear mother. All of these made him to be what he was made into.
But what I like the most in this film is he is one of the Filipino who values Education that this word is very important to all. He studied so much to learn, to be not ignorant and be not fooled by the Spanish cowards. I admired how he had the courage to go and study abroad to prepare himself for his task for liberating his people. He studied everything he could study, learned everything he could learn, and appreciate all the things that he saw and he respect and love the girls that he met.
